‍My Faith

‍Surrendering my life to Lord Jesus Christ just over 21 years ago was and is the best decision I have ever made! Prior to this I had no interest in Church, Christianity or indeed God.

‍However, my life on my terms had led to many poor choices which took me down many wrong paths. One evening in February 1998 I came to the realisation that I couldn't continue without something radical happening.

‍I had heard about Jesus many times since childhood, but that evening suddenly it all made sense. I realised that I was a sinner and rebel in God's eyes and that I needed Jesus in my life as my Saviour.

‍I cried out to God asking for forgiveness for my sin, rebellion and for denying Him in my life. I asked Jesus to take control and He did and has.

‍I have gone from being a God denier who was biblically ignorant to becoming a God worshipper who now teaches His Holy Word.

‍My whole life and outlook has changed. I now know that I am a heaven bound saint instead of hell bound sinner, not from anything that I have done but because of all that Jesus has done.

‍My faith story can be seen on YouTube "Real life with Peter Carr." It is about 15 minutes long.

‍Paisley South Baptist Church although not having formal membership is based on the Biblical understanding of fellowship; Acts 2: 42 - 47

‍"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

‍Church together

‍The main aim of Paisley South Baptist Church is to grow together and go together (2 Pet 3: 18 and matt 28: 18 - 20). We will update this website with future events.
